DeLange was born May 6, 1917 in Greeley, CO, the daughter of Joe and Ethel (Watson) Murray. She was baptized at St. Paul’s Church in Grand Forks, ND on April 8, 1928. She was confirmed there, May 4, 1930.

She graduated from Jamestown College June 5, 1939 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. It was here that she met the love of her life, Eugene DeLange. They were married March 17, 1940 in Miles City, MT.

Her husband was a pilot in WWII so they lived in several different cities. She was a secretary throughout her life, working for law firms and various government positions.

Margaret entered Eventide in Jamestown, ND in August of 2008. She died there on August 16, 2014. Preceding her in death are her husband, Eugene; parents; and sister, Ethel Stowers.

Survivors include her sister, Winona Enge of Valley City, ND; nephew, Brian (Karen) Enge of Valley City; niece, Bonnie (Michael) Bougie of Vadnais Heights, MN; brother-in-law, Herbert Stowers of Mesa, AZ; and many great nieces and nephews.

No local services will be held. Burial will take place in the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
