N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown parents, students and school staff are gearing up for the 2014-2015 school year.

Teacher In-Service was recently held for the Jamestown Public School system. Superintendent of the Jamestown Public Schools Robert Lech stated that the staff meets on the first day and envisions the direction that they’d like to take the school district. The strategic plan includes technology and growing enrollment in the district. Another part of the In-Service included some visioning exercises.

For the upcoming school year, the free mobile app developed by the school is available for download to your smart phone or tablet. You can stay up to date with the latest in school news through the app and individualize it for each school your child is in. School is scheduled to begin Monday, August 25th for Jamestown.
