N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their run report for August 8th through the 21st.

According to the report, 259 calls were responded to in 2013. As of August 22nd, the Jamestown Fire Department has responded to a total of 184 calls for 2014. Below is a full list of calls, dates and descriptions of runs the JFD responded to.

August 12th, 10:53PM, fire department responded to 1404 1st Ave N, James River, to assist Jamestown Police Department in searching for a missing a person. Firefighters searched the river with a boat; person was not located in the river. No injuries reported. Time out 3 hours 20 minutes.

August 14th, 1:55AM, fire department responded to 610 11th St NE #17, Multi Family Dwelling, to a report of a fire. Firefighters extinguished a small fire on the patio deck and investigated. Cause-smoking materials. No injuries reported. Time out 35 minutes.

August 14th, 8:17AM, ready squad responded to 2422 20th St SW, JRMC, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-humidity. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 25 minutes.

August 16th, 4:12PM, ready squad responded to 2501 Circle Drive, NDSH-New Horizon Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-water leak. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 1 hour.

August 20th, 6:36PM, fire department responded to 115 Sunnyside Trailer Park, Open Burning, to a report of smoke coming from behind a trailer. Homeowner extinguished the fire. Cause-illegal burning within city limits. No injuries reported. Time out 25 minutes.

August 20th, 8:55PM, fire department heavy rescue squad responded to Hwy 281 North ½ Mile south of Pingree, to a report of person/s trapped in vehicle. Firefighters extricated one person from a vehicle and assisted other agencies on scene. Cause-multi vehicle crash. No firefighter injuries reported. Time out 1 hour 55 minutes.

August 21st, 9:38AM, fire department hazardous materials team responded to Hwy 28 North ½ Mile south of Pingree, to assist with diesel fuel in ditch. State Health Department was notified of this incident. Time out 1 hour 10 minutes.
