N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown YMCA has announced that they will be holding a free week of classes for the community and surrounding area the week of August 25th through the 29th.

According to Executive Director Frank Conlin, The YMCA is holding the free open week so people can attend as many classes that they would like. This will then allow residents to determine what classes they’d be interested in taking during the year.

Conlin also stated that you don’t need to be a member to participate in the free classes. Other news with the YMCA includes a name change. The James River Family YMCA will soon be called the James River Family Fitness this Labor Day. Extended hours will also begin following Labor Day and will continue through Memorial Day next year.
