N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Game and Fish Department has announced that the state’s Dove season opens statewide on September 1st.

Hunters must register through the Game and Fish Department. The daily limit is 15 and possession limit is 45. Shooting hours are 30 minutes before sunrise to sunset and the season will remain open through November 9th. Hunters must possess a fishing, hunting and furbearer certificate and a general game habitat license.

Hunters must HIP register in each state for which they are license before hunting migratory game birds.
