N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their full run report for the week of August 22nd through the 28th.

According to Fire Chief Jim Ruether, the department responded to just four calls over the week, bringing the total number of calls the department has responded to this year to 188. In 2013, the department responded to a total of 259 calls. Below is a full list of calls, descriptions and dates of the calls that the Jamestown Fire Department has responded to.

August 23rd, 7:44AM, ready squad responded to 1404 1st Ave North, Care Facility, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-systems malfunction. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 30 minutes.

August 25th, 12:40PM, fire department responded to 2403 Circle Drive, NDSH-GM Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-accidental alarm activation. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 35 minutes.

August 26th, 12:22PM, ready squad responded to 215 4th Ave SW, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0 ppm was detected. Cause-faulty detector. Time out 30 minutes.

August 28th, 10:43AM, fire department responded to 517 4th St NW, to a report of large amount of smoke showing by the river. Firefighters extinguished an illegal burn pit and investigated. Cause-illegal burning with in the city limits of brush and trees. Referred to law enforcement. No injuries reported. Time out20 minutes.
