N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Edgeley Public School has begun the 2014-2015 year with more students than before.

According to the school’s newsletter, enrollment for the school is at 218 students in K through 12. That’s an increase of seven students from last year. The largest class for the school is 4th grade with 22 students. 17 of those students are at Edgeley and 5 at Willow bank. The smallest grade is 12th and 9th grade with 11 students in each.

The school will be holding a referendum on September 30th to vote on two ballot issues. The first will be whether the school can sell up to $4.35 million dollars in bonds to finance several projects including a new gymnasium, three new classrooms and remodeling projects. The second issue will be on increasing the current building fund tax levy from three mills to nine mills.
