N.D, (NewsDakota.com) In their second conference game of the season, the Valley City Hi-Liners Volleyball team was defeated in three games (28-15, 25-17, 25-20) by Fargo North on Thursday night.
The loss drops the Hi-Liners to 5-3 overall and 0-2 in the Eastern Dakota Conference.
VCHS was led at the net, by Senior hitter Claire Olson who tallied a team high five kills and three assists. Ellie Winter had 5 kills for the Hi-Liners while Brenna Dieterle ended the night with four kills and three blocks.
In the Spartans victory, Alexis Bachmeier led all players with 12 kills in the match.
The Hi-Liners return home on Tuesday, September 9th when they host Fargo South at 7pm. That game can be heard on 1490 KOVC.
