N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their run report for the week of August 29th through September 5th.

According to the report, the JFD has responded to 192 calls this year. Last year, the department responded to roughly 259 calls. Below is a full list of calls, dates and times that the Jamestown Fire Department sent out crews for response.

August 30th, 6:27PM, ready squad responded to 933 3rd Ave NW, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0 ppm was detected. Cause-faulty detector. Time out 40 minutes.

September 1st, 10:53PM, ready squad responded to 413 24th St SW, Restaurant, to investigate gas smell. Firefighters detected a natural gas smell. Advised occupant to have their cooking appliances that are served by natural gas be looked at by a qualified individual of firm. Cause-unknown. Time out 30 minutes.

September 2nd, 1:19PM, fire department responded to 143 Sunnyside Trailer Court, to a report of an oven range on fire. Firefighters extinguished a small afire and investigated. Cause-Natural gas oven range malfunction. No injuries reported. Time out 55 minutes.

September 5th, 6:02AM, ready squad responded to 300 2nd Ave NE, Sanford Health, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-low voltage activated the fire alarm. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 25 minutes.
