(NewsDakota.com)  The defending Region Four Champs from a year ago, met their first Region Three opponent last night as they played the Rebels of Edgeley/Kulm.  Carrington made the move this year to District Five-Region Three from District Seven-Region Four last year.  Carrington won in three sets (25-15, 25-5, 26-24).  Carrington is now 1-0 and 8-0, EK is 0-1 and 0-2 overall.

The Cardinals served up 22 aces on the night, led by Claire Endres with 15.  Endres also served 37 of 37 and added three stuff blocks.  Savanna Buskness had 10 of the 26 kills for Carrington.  Senior Brooke Rosenau had 19 assists, Rosenau reached 1000 career assists on September 2nd this year against Harvey/Wells County in Carrington.  She was presented the game ball by Head Coach Dale Peasley.
