(NewsDakota.com)  Central Dakota Junior Quarterback Jayden Grover connects with Senior Wide Receiver Hunter Engel for three touchdowns to help the Titans beat the Blue Jays 50-0 last Friday night in AA West High School football action.  Central Dakota is now 1-2 and 2-3 overall, the Blue Jays drop to 0-3 and 0-5 overall.  

The Titans drew first blood when Grover threw an eight-yard touchdown pass to Engel, the 2-point conversion was good making it 8-0.  Two minutes later, Grover would connect again with Engel for a seven-yard touchdown reception.  In the second half, the Titans scored four touchdowns.  Senior captain Cole Diede, who started at running back instead of his usual wide receiver position, rushed in for two touchdowns, one from 43 yards away and another from 40 yards out.  Grover would connect with Engel again with about 90 seconds left in the first half, this time it was a 66-yard touchdown reception.  But the Titans weren’t done, right before half, Junior Jesse Iverson picked off Freshman QB Wyatt Hanson and ran it back from 37 yards out, making it 42-0 at halftime.

The seventh touchdown of the game for the Titans came with just under two minutes left in the third quarter when Senior Fullback Dakota Straub powered his way into the end zone from two yards out, Diede completed the two point conversion making it 50-0 Titans.
