Stephens, age 18, of Valley City died Sept. 27, 2014 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday Oct. 1, 2014 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Valley City with Rev. Emmy Swedlund officiating.  Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM Tuesday at the church with a Prayer Service beginning at 7 PM.  Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery near Valley City.

Miranda was born in Valley City to Russell and Stacy Stephens. She loved all things “Winnie the Pooh” when she was little and as she grew up, she loved to fish, especially with her Grandma Peggy and her Dad.  Miranda graduated from Breckenridge High School in 2014, and was currently attending NDSCS in Wahpeton.

Miranda also loved horses, camouflage, trap shooting, and John Deere.  She made friends easily and loved to have fun.  Miranda is loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed!

Miranda is survived by her Dad – Russell and Lynette Stephens; Mom — Stacey Stephens; Grandparents – Peggy Murray, Quentin Murray, George and Teri Town, and Lorny and Jeri Behm;  Sisters – Ashley Gunderson, DeShanna Dotson, Dicara Dotson; Brothers – Blake Stephens and Nate Rodriguez; and a special Uncle, Randy Murray.
