N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The North Dakota Highway Patrol will conduct a sobriety checkpoint and alcohol saturation in Stutsman and Logan counties on Friday night to deter impaired driving by using high visibility enforcement. The sobriety checkpoint will be held Friday from 8-10 p.m.

This year, approximately 46 percent of fatal crashes have been alcohol-related.  The Highway Patrol is reminding the public to plan ahead. Call a taxi or designate a driver if you plan to drink. Results of the saturation and checkpoint will be provided on October 6.
