CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City will be hosting an El Zagal Shriners’ event October 3-5. It’s the celebration of 125 years of service to children and the Children’s Hospital and a lot more.

Event coordinator Brian Mindt says the public is invited to attend a number of upcoming activities including a presentation from a Children’s Hospital doctor and four patients with their testimonials about the Shriners’ Hospital. This presentation will be held around 7:15pm Saturday, October 4 following the evening banquet. For tickets to the banquet call Brian at 845-5196.

A golf scramble at the Valley City Town & Country Club is Friday, registration at noon with a shotgun start at 1pm. Ladies Wine Tasting at the AmericInn at 1pm and a Roast Beef & Chicken buffet at the Eagles Club Friday evening.

On Saturday, October 4 the Shriners’ parade will start at 10:30am down Central Avenue and the VCSU Homecoming parade starts at 11am. Social begins 5pm at the Eagles Club.

Dance to the classic Rock and Roll music with the group “Last Call” both Friday and Saturday from 9pm to 1am at the Eagles Club.

On Sunday, October 5 a pancake & sausage feed will be held at the Masonic Hall in Valley City located at 214 3rd Street Southeast. For more information call Brian Mindt at 845-5196.
