N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown invited Alumni and friends of the University to a dedication ceremony of the recently completed McKenna Thielsch Center.

The $9 million, 20,5000-square-foot building houses laboratories for the Departments of Biology and Chemistry, two simulation laboratories for the Department of Nursing, a student research lab, and a greenhouse.

The McKenna Thielsch Center is named for 1943 Jamestown College graduate Margaret (McKenna) Thielsch, who contributed the lead gift toward the project. The combined 38,000-square-foot complex will be the College’s largest academic building.

A dedication ceremony was held on the campus for the new center. Thanks were given to many contributors and friends of the University.
