N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Emergency Management Association recently held their annual membership meeting in Bismarck.

Three awards were presented during the conference. Among the award recipients was Stutsman County Emergency Manager Jerry Bergquist. Bergquist received the Distinguished Service Award which is the highest award that the North Dakota Emergency Management Association gives to honor current members. Jerry was given the award for clearly influencing the field of Emergency Management and the work of the Association in a positive manner.

Other award winners include Sherry Adams with the Southwest District Health Unit and Burleigh County Emergency Manager Mary Senger.
