(NewsDakota.com) – It didn’t take long for this one to be decided. In the first 17 minutes of game-time the University of Jamestown raced out to a 35-0 lead and were never threatened. The Jimmies eventually beat Mayville St. 63-6 and put up 723 yards of total offense, it’s their third win of the season matching their total in 2013.

Beau Eriksson threw three touchdown passes in the game, two went to his favorite target Mike Sena and the other went to Branden Edwards. The Jimmies took the opening drive down and punched it in, when Eriksson found Sena on a 25-yard scoring strike. Sena made the catch with one hand.

Chris Johnson only carried the ball five times, but two of them went for 80-plus yards and he ended with 170 yards and a score. The Comets certainly didn’t help themselves as they turned the ball over five times, three fumbles and two interceptions.

Jamestown will travel to Aberdeen to battle Presentation College on Saturday night at 6pm.
