CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The North Dakota University System’s VCSU Presidential Search Committee has been informed that finalist Daniel Shipp has withdrawn from consideration for the Valley City State University presidency.

VCSU spokesman Greg Vanney says Shipp expressed his thanks for his gracious reception by the community, but indicated he would remain at the University of Nebraska Omaha.

Vanney Says the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education will continue the process by interviewing candidate Tisa (Tee-Sah) Mason as scheduled at its meeting October 30 on the VCSU campus.
