N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department were called around 10:00 AM Thursday morning to the apartments on 1510 6th Avenue Southwest for a reported fire.

Initial reports say that a plate was left on a stove burner, which was left on and cause some fire and smoke to occur. The apartment was empty at the time and occupants were evacuated for precautionary reasons.

Due to the fire being reported from an apartment, all units of the Fire Department were dispatched to the scene. No one was injured and the fire remains under investigation.
