(NewsDakota.com) Bryce Meehl threw for five touchdowns, and returned an interception for a score as the Oakes Tornadoes soundly defeated the Patriots of Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesberg 42-14 in the opening round of the 2014 North Daktoa Class A Playoffs.

Meehl connected with Ethan Zetocha for two of the touchdowns, and finished 10 of 12 for 179 yards threw the air, as the Tornadoes remained perfect at 9-0; and earned their third trip to the Class A Quaterfinals in the last four years. The Patriots end their year with a 4-5 record.
