S.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jimmies picked up their fourth win of the season Saturday night in Aberdeen as they defeated Presentation College 37-14. Beau Eriksson tossed two touchdown passes in the win as the Jimmies ran off 31 straight points at one point.

The Saints grabbed a 7-0 lead in the second quarter when Antoine Scott took a toss on fourth-and-goal from the one-yard line and dove into the end zone. Jamestown would follow that with 31 straight. Actually, it took mere seconds for the Jimmies respond as Chris Johnson scored on a 59-yard run on the drives first play.

Freshman Mike Thingstad added a scoring run before half with a Grant Linde field goal to make it 17-7 into the half.

Jamestown’s leading receiver Mike Sena had just one catch for four yards in the first half, but it wouldn’t be long before the Eriksson-to-Sena connection would get going. Sena caught seven balls for 103 yards and two scores in the second half as the Jimmies pulled away.

The Jimmies lead 31-7 before Hayden Zenner broke off a long touchdown run to end Presentation’s drought. The win lift Jamestown to 4-4 and give Shawn Frank his first four win season, they are off this weekend before a trip to Mayville on November 8th.
