CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has taken a formal position in support of the proposed Valley City Health, Wellness and Physical Education Center.

In a news release the board said, “We believe investments must be made to ensure that we are a vibrant, growing community. The Wellness Center is expected to offer amenities that will benefit the community and our visitors. It is a significant and progressive investment important to the quality of life in Valley City, including attracting new residents and businesses, and growing existing businesses.”

The Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has also taken a position to support of permanent flood protection.

Meanwhile, the Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has taken a formal position against North Dakota Measure 7 in support of our community pharmacies and related businesses in Valley City.
