(NewsDakota.com) – No surprise if you follow either of the Jamestown volleyball teams that they both won with sweeps on Tuesday night. The Blue Jays won a three-setter over St. Mary’s (25-19, 25-23, 25-16) to improve to 11-1 in the WDA. The Jimmies are still perfect in the NSAA with a 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-16) over Dickinson St.

The Jimmies clinched a share of the NSAA regular-season title last week and the on Saturday clinched it outright. They have a record of 20-6 and are perfect in the North Star with a 10-0 record. They will play Briar Cliff and Mount Marty this weekend for their final regular season game. First playoff game will be November 12th at the Hansen Center.

The Blue Jays are still in the hunt for the WDA’s top-seed in the tournament which begins November 13th, but they will need someone else to beat Century. The Patriots currently hold the tiebreaker over the Jays. Jamestown will also need to beat Bismarck on November 4th to lock up No. 2-seed.
