CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City Hi-Liners ended a six game Eastern Dakota Conference skid Tuesday night with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-18) win over Grand Forks Central.

The win advances the Hi-Liners 6-12 in the EDC with a 19-14 record overall. The loss drops the Knights to 1-16 in the conference and 3-25 overall.

The Hi-Liners were led on the stat sheet by Claire Olson who drove home 16 kills and 13 digs. Reagan Ingstad led all players with 20 assists in the game. While at the net Brenna Dieterle blocked four attempted kills from the Knights.

Grand Forks Central’s Steph McWilliams tallied a team high 6 kills in the loss.

The Hi-Liners return home on Thursday night when they host Devils Lake. The game can be heard on 1490 KOVC starting at 7:00pm.
