CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) For the second time in a one year the movie theater in Valley City will have new owners. The theater will be called “Valley Twin Cinema” and will open November 7th in Valley City.

According to a news release issued by Valley City Barnes County Economic Development Director Jennifer Feist. She said the owners of Bison 6 Cinema in Jamestown, Lyman and Cory Keim, will be the new operators of the Valley City movie theater.  She said the Keims have been interested in serving the community for some time and are excited about the opportunity to do so.

The newly renovated theater will be open daily with new releases.  They will also honor all gift certificates and the 2014 refillable buckets from the previous owners Jeremy and Wendy Zako.

The Keims will be meeting with all existing employees and are happy to have them become part of the Valley Twin Cinema team. The Keims have been in the movie business in Jamestown for over 28 years and look forward to serving the Valley City  community.

Jeremy and Wendy Zako said due to health issues we have decided to focus their attention on their family and the Hazen Theater.  “We wish Valley City the best and want to extend our sincerest “thank you” to the community and all of the support we received, said Jeremy and Wendy Zako.”

The Valley City theater will be closed for one week starting October 31st and will reopen November 7th.
