CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Valley City Planning and Zoning committee is in the process of re-writing the zoning ordinance for the city of bridges.

Several business owners and residents attended the first public input meeting on October 30 in Valley City.

KLJ’s Project Manager Carron Day says public input is important during this process as the community updates its ordinance to match the wants and needs of residents and businesses in Valley City.

Some of the questions centered on proposed changes the public may want concerning the residential housing and commercial zoning ordinance. Other issues addressed where parking issues, temporary storage units, sidewalks and more.

Day says more meetings will be held but residents and business owners can make their opinions known online at www.valleycitytomorrow.com
