N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On Thursday, November 6th, troopers with the North Dakota Highway Patrol will station themselves on school buses within the Enderlin School District.

Trooper on a bus is an event that puts officials on local bus routes to increase enforcement and traffic safety. Troopers will ride along on regular bus routes and if violations occur, troopers will radio the information to another trooper. A traffic stop will then be initiated.

Consequences for failing to stop as required for school buses result in a $100 fine and six points to the violator’s driving record or the owner of the vehicle’s record.
