N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown Emergency Response was quick on the scene for a reported house fire in the city.

Crews were called out at around 5:27 PM to 523 Second Avenue NW. There were no reports of anyone being inside the house at the time. The cause of the fire is not known at this time. One fire fighter was taken to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center for medical evaluation. The house was unoccupied at the time.

The homes residents were assisted by the Buffalo Valley Red Cross and the fire remains under investigation.
