N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Farm Rescue, a nonprofit that assists farm families in need, has received a $35,000 grant from the Walmart Foundation’s State Giving Program.

“Walmart has been a major sponsor of Farm Rescue since we started helping farm families in times of unexpected crises,” said Bill Gross, President, Farm Rescue. “The strong community support that Walmart has shown throughout the years clearly indicates that they are a responsible and caring business providing opportunities and assistance within our communities. I commend their philanthropic endeavors.”

Since their inception, Farm Rescue has helped more than 300 farm families in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana and Iowa.
