CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Wreaths Across America event coordinator says they reached their goal of being able to place wreaths on every veteran’s grave at the North Dakota Veterans cemetery south of Mandan earlier this week.

Event coordinator Lt. Colonel Kevin Iverson with the Bismarck Civil Air Patrol says thanks to the support of so many people their squadron will now be able to lay 5,300 wreaths on all of the veterans’ grave sites at the state cemetery near Mandan during a December 13 ceremony at 11am central time. Ingstad Family Media’s Steve Urness interviewed Iverson about the program on November 24.
