N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Freezing rains over the weekend caused slippery conditions on I-94, causing a semi to lose control and overturn roughly 5 miles West of Jamestown at around 8:00 PM last night.

32 year-old Desmond Nicholas of Blue Springs, Missouri was traveling westbound when his semi-trailer broke loose on the ice. He took evasive action, causing the semi to lose control and overturn onto the drivers side. Desmond sustained injuries from the crash and was taken to the JRMC for treatment. His passenger, 38 year-old Torrian Atcherson was uninjured from the crash.

The crash remains under investigation by the NDHP.
