(NewsDakota.com) – It was a rough trip to Bismarck for the Blue Jay basketball teams last night as they traveled to play Century on Tuesday night. The two Jamestown teams combined to score just 43 points in the two losses. The girls fell 68-17 and the boys were crushed 82-24.

Jordyn Jossart lead the scoring for the Patriots with 15 points, including a stretch where she scored 13 of 14 straight points to close the first half. Jamestown lead at one point 4-0, but that lead was quickly erased and forgotten.

On the boys side, Jamestown was without starting PG Nick Fuchs and trailed 39-17 at the half. In the second half it was all Pats as they raced out to a 32-2 run. Jamestown’s second field goal in the second half didn’t come until the 4:45 mark.

Both teams are off until Tuesday when they go back to Bismarck to play St. Mary’s.
