N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s Youth Tour program is inviting local students to visit the nation’s capital at no expense to the student or the school.

Students will learn about historical figures and sites while also learning about the significance of co-ops and rural electrification. Last year’s sponsored student was Jayden Conant of Litchville-Marion.

The all-expense paid trip to Washington is scheduled for June 13th through the 19th. To qualify, a student must be a high school junior or senior in the fall of 2015. They must also be dependents of Dakota Valley Electric Cooperative.
