N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Kensal man is okay after he was trapped in a grain bin last Thursday.

Dave Jones, an employee at Kensal Farmers Elevator Co., was trapped up to his chest in soybeans and required special equipment to extricate him from the bin. Carrington Volunteer Fire and Rescue used a grain rescue tube to save him. Carrington Ambulance then transported him to the Carrington Health Center.

The Kensal Fire Department, Carrington Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Stutsman County Sheriff’s Office and both Jamestown and Carrington Ambulance Services responded.
