N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Daily Bread program of Jamestown has announced that they are now serving all schools in the community.

Daily Bread is a food rescue program that fills freezers in schools with food. It started when Ave Maria Village began packaging up excess food and donating it to someone who needed it. New freezers have been placed at Gussner Elementary School and in the main office of the Gardenette Living Center.

More food donors and kitchens are being asked to consider donating to Daily Bread to help stock freezers around the community. If interested, contact Tom Geffre at 701-252-5660.
