N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Fire Department has released their first run report for 2015.

It was a busier year last year, with slightly more call outs for the Department. 2014 saw 268 total calls, which was about 9 more calls than 2013. To kick off 2015, they have already responded to more than 20 calls. Below is a full list provided by Fire Chief Jim Reuther.

January 1st, 7:32PM, ready squad responded to 233 18th Ave NE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 127ppm was detected. Firefighters advised occupants to have gas fired equipment serviced by a qualified firm or individual. Cause-unknown which gas appliance was malfunctioning. Time out 45 minutes.

January 2nd, 5:13PM, ready squad responded to 518 2nd Ave NE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0ppm was detected. Cause-Faulty detector. Time out 30 minutes.

January 3rd, 10:11PM, ready squad responded to 1509 10th St NE, Jamestown High School, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-unknown. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 55 minutes.

January 4th, 9:48PM, ready squad responded to 1114 4th Ave NW, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0ppm was detected. Cause-unknown. Time out 50 minutes.

January 5th, 8:40AM, ready squad responded to 1010 17th St NE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0ppm was detected. Cause-faulty detector. Time out 25 minutes.

January 7th, 2:55PM, ready squad responded to 2605 Circle Drive, NDSH-Lahaug Building, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-maintenance on the system. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 45 minutes.

January 8th, 9:44PM, ready squad responded to 400 2nd Ave SW, Bank Forward, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-equipment malfunction. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 45 minutes.

January 15th, 10:48AM, fire department responded to 407 1st Ave North, to a report of a vehicle on fire. Firefighters checked the vehicle and there was no fire. Cause-steam from the vehicle overheating. No injuries reported. Time out 10 minutes.

January 16th, 8:30AM, fire department responded to Exit 258 I-94, to a report of a semi/trailer on fire. Fire was out upon arrival of fire units and firefighters investigated. Cause-hot wheel bearing. No injuries reported. Time out 1 hour 15 minutes.

January 17th, 12:26PM, fire department responded to 601 10th St SW, Single Family Dwelling, to a report of a fire. No fire, firefighters extracted smoke and investigated. Cause-dishwasher malfunctioned. No injuries reported. Time out 30 minutes.

January 18th, 5:50AM, ready squad responded to 523 4th SE, Trinity Lutheran Church, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-burnt popcorn. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 15 minutes.

January 18th, 6:08PM, fire department responded to 921 25th St SW, Parking Lot, to a report of a vehicle on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-undetermined. No injuries reported. Time out 40 minutes.

January 20th, 12:22AM, ready squad responded to 615 19th St NE, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 20ppm was detected. Cause-unknown. Time out 1 hour 5 minutes.

January 20th, 9:03AM, ready squad responded to 221 1st Ave North, Alley, to investigate gas smell. Firefighters checked the area and there was a presence of natural gas. Advised occupant to contact Montana Dakota Utilities to investigate further. Cause-unknown. Time out 10 minutes.

January 21st, 5:14AM, fire department responded to 901 1st Ave South, Hardees Restaurant, to a report of a fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-cooking grille. No injuries reported. Time out 40 minutes.
