N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Volunteers across the state are helping to open a service center in Harvey, ND for families displaced by the apartment fire last night.

According to a release from the American Red Cross, volunteers from Minot, Fargo, and Jamestown are deploying to operate the center and meet with those in need. They will be providing assistance with immediate needs as well as seasonal clothing, shoes, toiletry items and toys for children. Wells County Emergency Management is also assisting in recovery needs and plans.

The Center will open at 3:00 PM at Harvey City Hall. The Red Cross will continue to provide additional resources and recovery planning for all those affected.
