N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Graham Hurlburt and Dalton Anderson show took center court as the Enderlin Eagles upset the Districts top team Northern Cass on Saturday night 73-59 in the District 2 semifinal. The Eagles will meet up with Fargo Oak Grove who picked up a semifinal win over Central Cass 66-62. In the consolation semifinal Maple Valley was eliminated from play in a 59-43 loss to Kindred.

Enderlin’s Graham Hurlburt posted a game high 22 points while teammate Dalton Anderson was close behind with 21 points of his own against the Jaguars. 

The Eagles will move on to play Fargo Oak Grove in the championship game Monday night at 7:30pm. That game can be heard on Q101, 101.1 fm. 

Fargo Oak Grove 66 Central Cass 62

In a hard fought Semifinal, Oak Groves Tanner Kretchmen and Christian Adams combined for 49 points to lead the Groves past the Squirrels. 

Central Cass’ Adam Breske posted 20 points in the loss surpassing 1,000 points for his high school career. The Squirrels will play Richland on Monday in the days opening game at 4:30pm for a chance to move on to the Region 1 tournament. 

Maple Valley 43 Kindred 59

In the days opening game, the Maple Valley Raiders were eliminated from the tournament by the Kindred Vikings. 

The Raiders were led in  scoring by Dakotah Steele who posted nine points in the loss. Kindred’s Fletcher Andel led all Vikings on the score sheet with 14 points in the win. 

Kindred will play Northern Cass on Monday evening for the chance to play in the Region 1 tournament.
