N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Game and Fish Department has announced that anglers have until mid-March to remove permanent fish houses from North Dakota waters, any state wildlife management area or federal refuge land.

North Dakota State law requires permanent fish houses be removed from the waters by midnight March 15th. It is illegal to keep fish houses on any state-owned or managed land after that date. Anglers are also advised to use caution while accessing the lakes because mild weather conditions can result in unstable ice.

Fish houses may be used after March 15th, but must be removed daily.
