N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A request was approved last night to enter into an agreement for a study on the feasibility of recycling in the community of Jamestown.

During a committee meeting, Brent Erickson of HDR pointed out that a similar study in Bismarck took about a year and considered current methods of collection. Out of six proposals before the committee, the city selected HDR. HDR will begin assessing the bailing facility, financial information, and the recycling costs and curbside recycling for Jamestown.

More information will follow after the study is complete.
