(NewsDakota.com) The 2015 season started out very well for a couple seniors of the Oakes High School track and field team.

Blake Hollingsworth won the 55-meter, the 200 and 400 meter dashes and Preston Anderson took the top spot in the high jump and second place in the triple jump at Monday’s Wolves Invitational Indoor Track and Field Meet at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

Hollingsworth finished with times of 6.76 seconds, 23.71 seconds and 52.83 seconds respectfully, while Anderson had jumps of 6’2″ and 42′ 41/4″.

Anderson placed fourth in the 200 meter dash with a time of 25.14 seconds, and Carter Zetocha was fifth with a time of 25.27 seconds. Landon Hill tied for seventh in the pole vault at 8 feet 6 inches.

On the girls side, Shelby Gelinske was fifth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1 minute 9.65 seconds, and also fifth in the triple jump with a jump of 31 feet 43/4 inches. Bailey Skjefte was seventh in the triple jump with a jump of 31 feet 1/2 inch,
