(NewsDakota.com) After earning their first Class B Region I victory the day before, the LaMoure-Litchville/Marion baseball team saw their opposition on Friday earn their first Region I victory as the Central Cass Squirrels defeated the Loboes 11-0 at Townsend Field. 

LLM (1-5 Class B Region 1) had only three hits off of Central Cass’ Nick Holm. Holm struck out eight in the victory, and had a no-hitter going through four and a third innings wolf work. Central Cass (1-3) had 12 hits off of Loboe pitching, with Parker Stemen being rattled for eight hits in five innings; taking the loss.

The Loboes have all of next week off, and will return to action on May 5, when they head to Casselton to take on the Squirrels again. Coverage on Q101.1 FM and NewsDakota.com will start at 4:50 p.m.
