N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Northern Plains Electric Cooperative has announced a planned power outage for Cando beginning Monday. The outage will affect more than 100 residence and businesses.

An accident occurred Friday when a driver collided with a three-phase power pole and the co-op will be turning off power to repair the damage. The outage will be expected from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The co-op has made automated phone calls to all affected accounts today. Crews will also be paying personal visits to larger accounts like hospitals and businesses.
