Pauline Wilkes was born in Bowbells, ND on May 24th, 1923, the daughter of Rose and Bernard Wilkes.  Polly graduated from Bowbells High School and business school in Minot.  On January 10, 1951, she married the love of her life, William “Bill” Zinninger.  In the early years of her marriage, she worked at department stores in Minot and was always proud to be a farm wife.  After she and Bill retired from farming, they moved to Parker Apartments in Minot for six years.  In April 2009 they moved to Bridgeview Estates in Valley City to be closer to family.  Polly entered the Sheyenne Care Center in October 2014.  Polly was a kind, loving lady who enjoyed life and spending time with her family and many friends. She was a life-long member of her Homemakers Club. She was very skilled in crafting, crocheting, knitting and loved to play Bingo.  Polly was dearly loved by her family and we will always miss our Aunt Polly.

Polly is survived by her nephews and nieces:  Ron and Val Burchill, Kathy and Bob Mosby, Bob Burchill, Ed and Barb Patterson, Mike & Sharon Cordisco.

Polly was preceded in death by Bill, her loving husband of 63 years, her parents and all her brothers and sisters.
