Arthur Anderson was born October 6, 1959 in Lisbon, ND to Lee and Shirley (Johnson) Anderson.  Mark was baptized and confirmed at Waldheim Lutheran Church near Kathryn, ND.  He attended school in Nome and Enderlin, ND and was a graduate of Valley City (ND) High School.  Following his schooling, he farmed with his father and was still doing so at the time of his death.

He married Roselee Centino in Valley City and was blessed with two sons.

Mark was a racing enthusiast and was involved in a pool league.  The thing he enjoyed most was driving around the countryside seeing what the neighbors and friends were up to.

Mark died in Sanford Health in Fargo on May 18, 2015.  He is survived by his two sons, Christian Lee Anderson and Bradford Mark Anderson, both of West Fargo; his parents, Lee and Shirley of Kathryn, ND; brother, Mike (Deb) Anderson of Enderlin, ND; sisters, Michele (Gary) Johnson of Kathryn and Meldine (Randy) Tang of Harwood, ND; and nieces and nephews, Jason (Amy) Anderson, Jesse (Leah) Anderson, Brandon Anderson, Kristi (Chad) Johnson, Timothy (Holly) Johnson, Thomas (Amanda) Tang, Alex Tang, and Zachary Tang.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

The funeral service for Mark A. Anderson, 55, Valley City, ND will be 11:00 AM, Friday, May 22, 2015 at Waldheim Lutheran Church, Kathryn.  Burial will be in the Waldheim Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday at the Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City.
