N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown City Fire Department has released their run report for May 8th through the 21st.

The department saw a range of calls during that time span including several garage fires, fire alarm activation’s and many others. According to a release from Fire Chief Jim Ruether, the Department went on their 100th call this past week. Below is a full list of dates, times and descriptions of each call by the Fire Department.

May 9th, 6:21AM, fire department responded to 720 3rd Ave NW, Garage, to a report of smoke. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-under investigation. No injuries reported. Time out 1 hour 10 minutes.

May 9th, 2:32PM, fire department responded to 1115 6th Ave SE, Garage, to a report of a fire in a structure. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-accidental. No injuries reported. Time out 1 hour 45 minutes.

May 10th, 10:38AM, fire department responded to 723 3rd Ave NW, Garage, to a report of a fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and investigated. Cause-under investigation. No injuries reported. Time out 25 minutes.

May 12th, 1:04AM, fire department responded to 733 11th St NE, Multi Family Dwelling, to a report of a fire. Fire was out upon arrival of fire units. Firefighters checked for extension and investigated. Cause-electrical short. No injuries reported. Time out 55 minutes.

May 13th, 11:40AM, ready squad responded to 910 2nd Ave SW, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate odor smell. Firefighters checked the area and detected nothing at the time. Cause-unknown. Time out 25 minutes.

May 15th, 2:14AM, ready squad responded to 114 ½ 3rd St NW, Multi Family Dwelling, to investigate fire alarm activation. On arrival of fire unit/s heavy smoke was detected, firefighters requested additional firefighters. Time out 2 hours.

May 15th, 2:34AM, fire department responded to 114 ½ 3rd St NW, Multi Family Dwelling, to assist firefighters in the removal of smoke and investigate. Cause-accidental. No injuries reported. Time out 2 hours.

May 16th, 11:38AM, ready squad responded to 1509 10th St NE, Jamestown High School, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-systems malfunction. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 30 minutes.

May 16th, 10:22PM, ready squad responded to 1805 8th Ave NW, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0ppm was detected. Cause-unknown. Time out 55 minutes.

May 19th, 3:07PM, ready squad responded to 808 5th Ave SE, Single Family Dwelling, to investigate carbon monoxide detector activation. Firefighters analyzed for carbon monoxide and 0ppm was detected. Time out 20 minutes.

May 20th, 6:31PM, ready squad responded to 502 24th St SW, My Place Motel, to investigate fire alarm activation. Firefighters checked for smoke/fire none was detected. Cause-contractors working of the fire system. Fire alarm was reset. Time out 20 minutes.
