N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – AAA has predicted that automotive travel this Memorial Day weekend will be around nearly 33 million travelers, being the highest volume in the past 10 years. Cheaper prices at the pump are suspected to be the cause.

According to the website GasBuddy.com, fuel in the state has stayed around the average of $2.52, which is roughly a dollar less than it was a year ago. That compares to the national average of $2.74 a gallon for regular fuel.

Even though the cost of fuel has been on a steady rise, it isn’t expected to deter travelers this holiday weekend.
