CITY, ND – The next SVFA membership meeting is set for Tuesday, June 9th in Chautauqua Park at 7:00pm. There will be a “Best Dressed” pet contest, as well as a Blessing of the Animals by Candy Steed-Rasmussen.Everyone is welcome to attend.

Here are a few animals up for adoption:

Georgia the cat is still with us.  She’s a super sweet girl who doesn’t care for cats, but gets along with everyone else she’s met.  She’d be really good for an older person that is looking for someone to nap with, play with, and talk to.  She’s also great at getting cobwebs out of the fun, fascinating corners she likes to scope out!  Georgia is also very good at sitting for a treat!  Even if you’re just near where the treats are kept, she’ll sit down and stare at you until you give in!

Piper is also still with us.  At a year and a half old, she’s young enough to adjust quickly to any situation, but old enough that she’s out of the kitten stage.  She’s a snuggler and has lived with cats, dogs, and kids.  She’d fit in well anywhere. Piper is on special urinary food.

We’re also getting a new dog in this week.  He’s cute, and unfortunately, you’ll have to wait to hear more about him!  But here’s a sneak peek photo of him for you below.
