N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two individuals are accused of robbing a Jamestown gas station and convenience store early Monday morning.

According to initial reports, the on-staff member at the Superpumper in south Jamestown contacted authorities at around 12:38 AM. The clerk reported a man wearing a bandana and heavy jacket entered the store, pushed past them and took an undisclosed amount of cash from a safe under the counter and fled out the back door of the store. No weapons were involved.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage with the manager and identified the suspect as a former employee. They were also able to analyze the getaway vehicle. Police went to the apartment of former employee 26 year-old Josh Lamb and his roommate and former co-worker 23 year-old Mark Shannon and found the stolen cash and clothing matching the description of the alleged robber.

Both are being held in the Stutsman County Corrections Center awaiting formal charges.
